PIECES STILL A WHOLE

You know I've been here before,
My Rock has got to Roll.
I've been to Hell and back again,
With my pieces still a whole.
Serendipity isn't me,
There's good flesh on my bone.
I like mine in black and white,
Not dressed up playing clone.
I like life in the passing lane
My flag has chequered the most.
I gamble on myself and band,
To win from coast to coast.
My style of life is kicking ass,
There's no excretion to my game.
I work for fame and fortune,
My friends all do the same.
We all start out unequal,
This continues through the years
Life is a set of shifts,
We all go through the gears.
